Crankworx Rotorua: Ryan Gilchrist Wins the AirDH
[Carins, March 23rd] – The YETI E-EDR team has once again demonstrated their prowess, continuing their remarkable winning streak on Kenda tires. The latest triumph at Crankworx Rotorua saw Australian rider Ryan Gilchrist clinching victory in the AirDH event, followed closely by last year’s winner, fellow Aussie Mick Hannah.
Gilchrist, who celebrated his 22nd birthday onsite, attributed a significant part of his win to the intensive training sessions he shared with Hannah. “We really did a lot of practice together, and he taught me some of his secrets that he learned winning last year,” said Gilchrist. He continued, “I am honored, honestly. It’s Mick Hannah. You can’t say he’s not a legend.”
