Like it as a rear XC race tire. Works well in all conditions but especially in mud.
This is the tire pressure I’ve been waiting for Kenda to make for over a decade. They had a hole in the line up and this fills it, cornering knobs are exactly the way they should be…in line with each other. I loved the original Nevegal, and this is pretty similar. The Regolith is a good tire, but somewhat lacking in the high speed corners with the offset side knobs. The new Karma is a welcome addition.
Been riding the SCT 2.2” and 2.4” sizes. The tire rolls fast and corners predictably. I have used it as a rear in the 2.2”. Excellent tire all around.
My favorite trail tire is the Regolith. However, I also like these as well. They are lighter and a little less aggressive than the Regolith. They are also faster rolling. I know this is stupid but I really wanted the coffee side walls because it matched my Copper colored Specialized SJ really well.
I needed a light weight race tire to race in the wet conditions. This tire simply works.
