Over a decade after its original release, the Nevegal gets a complete makeover that leaves no aspect of the tire unchanged. The tread pattern was updated for reduced rolling resistance and now features the new EN-DTC rubber compound. The casing benefits from the latest in material technology featuring the Advanced Trail Casing optimized for enduro racing and trail riding. Superior flat resistance – The new ATC casing uses Kenda’s proprietary lightweight material K-Armor to increase puncture resistance by 174% over traditional aramid breakers. Responsive ride - EN-DTC dual tread rubber balances wear and grip, letting the knobs do the work of control and braking on the ground. Easy going – The new design and material offers 50% less rolling resistance than the original Nevegal. E-Bike ready - Certified to the ECE-R75 standards for e-bikes up to 50km/h in speed. TIRE TECHNOLOGY ATC Optimized for enduro and trail riding, the Advanced Trail Casing (ATC) uses a layer of SCT on the sidewalls and a K-Armor belt under the tread area. K-Armor allows for a tighter weave and the use of less rubber, resulting in a lighter tire and a casing that is supple enough to allow the knobs to flex and form under load, yet still protects from pinch flats or casing tears. EN-DTC Designed around the rigors of enduro racing. Featuring a lower rolling resistance value than previous dual tread compounds, tires with EN-DTC show less wear than other similar tires. With shore A values lower than the original DTC, the EN-DTC provides a more responsive ride, letting the knobs do the work of control and braking on the ground. E-MOUNTAIN CASING (EMC)EMC is the first tire casing on the market specially designed to meet the requirements of e-mountain bikes. Thanks to a reinforced ply of woven fabric and additional layer of puncture protection, every tire with EMC casing is more durable and provides more control and grip than any other standard MTB standard tire. ECE-R75 certified and approved for usage on e-bikes up to 50 km/h. E-BIKE 50KPH (EB50)Indicates that tire has passed the ECE-R75 E-Bike certification for E-Bikes with speeds up to 50 kilometers (30 miles) per hour.
