Description Technical Specs

Over a decade after its original release, the Nevegal gets a complete makeover that leaves no aspect of the tire unchanged. The tread pattern was updated for reduced rolling resistance and now features the new dual-rubber compound. The casing benefits from the latest in material technology featuring the Advanced Trail Casing optimized for enduro racing and trail riding.

  • Superior flat resistance – The new ATC casing uses Kenda’s proprietary lightweight material K-Armor to increase puncture resistance by 174% over traditional aramid breakers.
  • Responsive ride - EN-DTC dual tread rubber balances wear and grip, letting the knobs do the work of control and braking on the ground.
  • Easy going – The new design and material offers 50% less rolling resistance than the original Nevegal.

This is my go-to tire--great tread pattern that seems to hook up predictably. Rolls well over roots and rocks and holds up well over time. When my pair eventually wears down, I replace them without thinking of another option.

4 of 5 Fast Rolling Rear 27.5x2.6 ATC November 15, 2019
Reviewer: Matt Helm from Steamboat Springs, CO
I've been riding this tire as a rear for almost a year now. I started out using for front and rear, but found the Hellkat was a better fit for me in the front. I did have one tire blow on me while in my shed after a ride, but hopefully that was a fluke. I'm guessing I damaged the tire on a steep rocky descent just beforehand. Otherwise, it has been fast with great grip for climbing and descending. I will keep riding this tire because it has been so reliable.

Great tire. Use in front. Fast, low rolling resistance but grabs as needed.
