This is my 2nd set of Juggernauts. For trail riding I run 6 psi, giving the tire plenty of traction from the large contact patch. At this low psi, the tires are cush, absorbing trail chatter. They never spin out on climbs. As long as I can stomp on the pedals, these tires chunder up like a goat. For street riding, I run 15psi, which makes the tire rock solid, like a road bike tire with a tiny contact patch. This higher psi, coupled with the low profile tread reduces rolling resistance considerably. The diameter of the rolling surface gets larger too, essentially gearing up the bike to go faster for road use. My bike’s a Salsa Mukluk and these tires lock into my Rolling Darryl rims tight, no tire levers needed. Because much of my riding is off trail in thorny brush, I use Mr. Tuffee liners. These are NOT the tires for ebikes, as I’ve seen in some negative reviews. Dudes, if you’re riding an electric “motor†cycle, then get motorcycle tires.
