Description Technical Specs

The Pinner is Kenda's all-new dry condition gravity tire. Exclusively developed with World Cup athletes, the Pinner was done for World Cup tracks like Leogang and Lenzerheide and designed to hold its own against the toughest competitors. The Pinner shines with excellent cornering predictability and particularly high puncture protection. Available with AGC, ATC or SCT casings, the Pinner is an excellent choice for gravity racers and trail riders alike.

  • Excellent predictability - A consistent contact patch when the bike is leaned over creates a super predictable feel - no sudden wash-outs!
  • Optimized for hard pack - The tread pattern is done to work best on hard pack, rocky or rooty and loose over hard conditions.
  • Choose the AGC casing for gravity riding, ATC for a lighter Enduro / Trail tire or SCT for the lightest option.
  • Tubeless ready.
  • Topo Design - Unique and stand-out topographic design pattern over the sidewalls and tread.

5 of 5 Clean and Grips !!!! July 20, 2023

Just got in the Pinner's and I love them.  I live in So Ca. and these tires have been so grippy on the trails.  I have even taken them up to Snow Summit and SkyPark and the grip is excellent, but for ripping my local trails at Greer these tires feel like they were made specifically for that place.  Love them and highly recommend them.

5 of 5 Pinner 2.4” ATC July 3, 2023
Reviewer: Cody Chevalier from Southwest
Was looking for a different front tire than my 2.5” Maxxis Assegai which is a slug on the climbs, and this tire fit the bill after multiple tire option considerations. This tire cut the weight of my previous front tire by roughly 200g, and is relatively noticeable. Great grip, good traction, and the knobs roll real easily. I’m on an Ibis Ripley with this 2.4” up front, and a Specialized Fast Trak 2.35” on the rear. So far, so good. I’ve only really “slipped” on maybe 2 or 3 REALLY loose/sandy turns, and I’m not sure any tire would have really held up. Great confidence going downhill on chunk/chunder, and great for loose over hard. I’d recommend it.

5 of 5 Pinner April 23, 2023

Pinner replaced a Maxxis tire. I ride on mostly hard pack and rock. The Booster grips these surfaces and gives me good traction and much better rolling resistance.
